SeaWorld Abu Dhabi on Yas Island finally will have an opening date according to Miral has confirmed that the water attraction will be open from 23 May.

As a future-proof Marine Life theme park SeaWorld Abu Dhabi boasts eight distinct and immersive areas. This includes animal experiences activities, thrill rides eating and retail experiences.

Each space was designed by the top specialists in animal care scientists, engineers and scientists employing cutting-edge technology to replicate the natural habitats of animals.

SeaWorld Abu Dhabi is the initial SeaWorld attraction outside of the US has over 100,000 marine creatures.

“Through its unique programs and modern installations, SeaWorld Abu Dhabi aims to encourage the future generation of conservationists and marine life scientists and foster an appreciation for the nature,” said Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak Chairman of Miral.

“SeaWorld Abu Dhabi”‘s opening is set to bring a new chapter for Yas Island and Abu Dhabi’s constant efforts to increase tourism, highlight the best of Abu Dhabi’s offerings and establish it as an international destination of excellence.”

One Ocean is a world of its own. One Ocean realm serves as an access point to the other regions and provides an immersive experience in multimedia in a 360-degree-view.

It also has an animal care center in which guests can watch the veterinarians and animal experts working.

The Abu Dhabi Ocean realm, guests will be able to learn much more about Arabian Gulf and the UAE’s pearl diving and trading customs.

The area is home to a number of restaurants which include Matbakh Ummi, and retail outlets inside the Souk. There, visitors can begin playing the park’s interactive game S*E*A Guardian.

The Polar Ocean area includes two distinct realms, Antarctica and Arctic, which allow visitors to experience the natural world of the world’s polar regions.

Alongside walruses as well as penguins exploring their modern-day environments, the area includes an immersive experience along with dining options, as well as retail stores.
The animal kingdom, the rides, and entertainment

Within the Micro Ocean realm, guests can discover and meet some of ocean’s most adorable creatures. They can also experience children-friendly rides, play zones with whimsical characters, and a enjoyable retail store.

The Endless Ocean realm is home to the world’s biggest aquarium, which has over 25 million litres water , and over 68,000 sea creatures including manta rays and sharks as well as sea turtles.

The Tropical Ocean realm is the largest of the park, with dolphins, flamingos, and tropical birds. The park also features the roller coaster, shopping outlets, and restaurants.

The Rocky Point realm is inspired by the United States’ Pacific Northwest and has a hidden cove that is home to the sea lions that nest in it.

“Years ahead of schedule SeaWorld’s world-renowned team of animal-care specialists, scientists and engineers have collaborated with the team of visionaries at Miral, a leading architect and designers to design an innovative SeaWorld Park,” stated Scott Ross who is the director of SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment.

“The result is a rewarding and memorable experience that is not just the animals we care for, but the guests.”

The next door location to just across the street, Yas SeaWorld Research & Rescue has been opened to become the MENA region’s very first dedicated Marine research and rescue facility.

SeaWorld Abu Dhabi was developed by SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment and Miral Abu Dhabi’s top creator of immersive attractions and experiences.
