One of the largest payment systems in Ukraine, the LEO International Payment System, decided to offer even more favorable conditions for money transfers due to an increase in the number of participants and new technical solutions.

A new multi-card money transfer from LEO is a P2P transfer service with a set of advanced features. By using all the advantages of the loyalty program and a wide range of discounts on transfers, customers can not only send money from a bank account to different cards but also get more favorable conditions for transfers. Transfers can be done between holders of cards issued by VISA and MasterCard payment systems, as well as the Ukrainian PROSTIR National Payment System. New service allows the audience to send and receive transfers, as well as pay for the transfer by using an activation code for another client.

It is also worth noting that in November 2021, the LEO International Payment System also launched a new service that allows making payments in groups and channels in Telegram messenger. This new feature allows the audience to accept credit card payments by using payment systems. Participants of the system can use any messenger platform for payments, including Telegram Desktop.

Furthermore, the LEO International Payment System has already launched a special section on their website with detailed information on how businesses can enable payments via Telegram

Currently, the Telegram messenger supports payments in more than 200 countries around the world, while working only with 15 payment service providers. The LEO International Payment System managed to become one of them by offering its solution for telegram payments called LeoPayment. It is also worth noting that 30% of all companies that were able to successfully complete technical integration with the messenger and are available for user payments are companies from Ukraine.

According to the CEO of the LEO International Payment System, Alona Shevtsova, LEO holds the position of one of the most actively developing Ukrainian payment systems created by non-bank financial institutions. She highlights the fact that this was achieved thanks to the active work with the participants of the payment system and the support of their most dynamic projects. In 2022, the LEO International Payment System will continue to develop and offer new services in the fields of transfers and payments to customers.

A bit earlier, the LEO International Payment System reported the total turnover growth by 146% within the payment system for 9 months of 2021 (compared to the same period in 2020). The increase in the number of transactions reached the level of +147% for the three quarters of 2021 (27.8 million in 2021 against 18.9 million transactions in 2020).

In March 2021, the LEO International Payment System was added to the list of important payment systems in Ukraine by the National Bank of Ukraine. In 2021, the LEO International Payment System became a member of the MasterCard and Visa payment systems.

Already in June, the third President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko became the head of the Supervisory Board of the LEO International Payment System. Currently, there are 22 participants in the LEO International Payment System.
