In the process of preparing for life at university the new students will often be faced with many crucial decisions to make. Once you’ve decided which university you’d like to attend The next concern on your list will be “Where will I stay?”

There are many things to consider when deciding the best student housing for you. It is our belief that finding the ideal accommodation to stay in during your studies isn’t difficult, so in order to assist you in making your decision we conducted a poll of more than the 450 students we have as tenants who provided their top six strategies for selecting the ideal area.

1.Stay connected

The top requirement cited among our pupils was having a solid and reliable Internet connection. This is crucial for those who prefer to work from your home, therefore making sure that your home is able to provide a reliable internet connection is vital.

2. Location is location, location, the location

Another crucial aspect mentioned in our survey of students was LOCATION. 86% of the students indicated that location was extremely important when they were considering which area they’d like to reside in. It is important to consider the ease of living in your home is it possible to walk around? Are you close to the university’s facilities as well as local nightlife and shops? Even though properties that aren’t situated in an urban area may appear cheaper, after taking into account transport costs and other costs, they can become expensive.

3. Securing and secure

The final tip that our survey of students suggested for selecting your Leicester student studio was to think about the security of your home A crucial aspect that is often forgotten amid the excitement of starting the university. 73% of respondents said it was their security that made their home was crucial to their overall experience. It might be worth to conduct some research on the location, such as knowing about security measures and whether there are people on hand to make you feel secure.

4. A warm smile

70percent of college students felt it was crucial that the staff members at their lodging are friendly and friendly. The staff at your place of residence is going to have a crucial responsibility in ensuring that you feel comfortable and content throughout your stay. It’s an excellent idea to chat with them whenever you go to see a property or even ask the tenant who is currently there about their opinion of the staff. A welcoming staff can make the difference in how quickly you get settled into your new home and it’s the staff members who will organize events and icebreakers , therefore make sure you inquire for the social calendar as well!

5. Play, work and rest

Based on our research that 65% of students thought that facilities for communal use were an important aspect when selecting a place to live. A communal space like the common room, gym or cinema, can be a fantastic way to make new acquaintances. If you’re in a position to do so to use one, we recommend you make the effort to take a look at all the communal spaces that are available in your residence including the laundry area, to ensure that they’re clean and well-maintained.

6. The whole thing is about experience

The sixth suggestion that students were able to share was to make sure that you make your contract signed by an experienced and trusted ORGANISATION. Nearly two-thirds of our study rated this as an extremely crucial element. When you select a well-established and well-established company You can rest assured that you’re in good in good hands.
