Heavyweight boxing champion Tyson Fury showcased his latest surprising career move – rapping alongside Freddy Flintoff and Jamie Redknapp.
The Morecambe boxer said he’d retired from boxing after beating Dillian Whyte in a WBC title bout in April. But he left the door open to other moves such as a potential move into UFC.
For now though, it seems he is focusing on calmer and less serious matters and will appear on this week’s episode of A League of Their Own on Sky. Ex-footballer Redknapp shared a clip of the upcoming episode on Instagram.

In the video, Fury joins Redknapp and Preston cricketing legend Flintoff for a drive during which he tells them: “I am the King of Las Vegas now. Elvis was the former king and now it’s me.”
Redknapp agrees before changing the subject to hip hop and introducing Rapper’s Delight by The Sugarhill Gang. While Flintoff and Redknapp are keen to show off their skills, Fury, who enjoys singing in the ring after victories, is left awkwardly nodding along while joining for the occasional line.
Fury has vowed to hang up his gloves after he retained his world champion title against Dillian Whyte and instead said he’ll retire as he promised Paris he would. Speaking on Piers Morgan Uncensored on TalkTV, Fury said it was the ‘gospel truth’ that he was retiring.
He said: “This is the truth, the gospel truth, nothing but the truth – I’m done. When is enough enough? I’m happy, I’m healthy, I’ve still got my brains, I can still talk. I’ve got a beautiful wife, I’ve got six kids. I’ve got umpteen belts, I’ve got plenty of money. I’ve got success, fame, glory. What more am I doing it for?
“Boxing’s a very dangerous sport, you can be taken out with one punch as we’ve seen on Saturday night, and it only takes one unlucky blow and you may not get up from that canvas. I’m quitting while I’m ahead. I’m undefeated, only the second man in history to retire undefeated heavyweight champion.”
