Liverpool have recalled a loan player for their FA Cup tie with Shrewsbury Town – but it’s not Preston North End’s Sepp Van den Berg.
The Dutchman is in his second spell at Deepdale and has been a key player for the Lilywhites this term.
The 20-year-old defender has made 26 appearances in all competitions this term for PNE, scoring twice and is a fan favourite.

Liverpool assistant coach Peter Krawietz has confirmed a player has returned from a loan spell, understood to be Leighton Clarkson after his stint at Blackburn Rovers was cut short.
Clarkson has struggled to find a way into the XI at Rovers having made just four starts since arriving in the summer.
He could be thrust into the Reds squad for the FA Cup tie with League One Shrewsbury given Jurgen Klopp’s side have suffered a Covid outbreak this week that forced the postponement of their Carabao Cup semi-final first leg with Arsenal.
Anfield assistant coach Krawietz said: “We have one loan player back and he will probably join the squad tomorrow.
“Of course we are searching for options for this game and for this squad nearly everywhere. We found enough players to build a team.
“I can’t talk about names. Please understand my situation, I can’t talk about that. Joel Matip joined training yesterday again, but we have to see whether he is available or not.”
