A road has been closed after flood water interfered with electrics at two properties in Preston.
Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service were called to the scene at Hoyles Lane at around 9.09am on Monday (November 1).
Two fire engines attended and discovered that flood water had entered two commercial properties.

The flooding was interfering with the electrics and firefighters are pumping the water out.
Lancashire Police are in attendance and have put a road closure in place.
Hoyles Lane is closed between Sandy Lane and Kingsley Road.
A spokesperson for Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service said: “We were called at 9.09am to a shop on Hoyles Lane.
“It looks like flood water has affected the electrics at two commercial properties. Fire fighters are pumping the water out of the properties.
“We have sent two fire engines – one from Fulwood and one from Preston.”
