Concerns are growing for the welfare of a missing woman from Whitehaven.
Cumbria Police said Donna Trip was last seen this morning (August 1) at around 8:40am today in the area of Holly Bank of the town. It is believed she is travelling in a silver Ford Fiesta with the registration number YJ12 ZHC.
Officers have shared an appeal on social media of the 47-year-old including a recent picture of her. They are asking for the public’s help to locate her.

A force spokesperson said: “Police are concerned for the welfare of missing 47-year-old Donna Tripp who was last seen this morning at around 8:40am today (Aug 1) in the area of Holly Bank, Whitehaven. It is believed she is travelling silver Ford Fiesta registration number – YJ12ZHC
“Anyone with information should contact police on 101. Officers would also like to urge Donna to contact this number if she sees this appeal.”
