Cumbria Police have intercepted two motorists and seized their cars in separate incidents on Friday night.
Traffic police spotted a vehicle in Clifton, Penrith, and checked details to find it was not insured. Police have seized the car and the driver was handed a Traffic Offence Report.
A short while later another vehicle, a Mazda, was seized in Carlisle as the driver was disqualified.

Late on Friday night Cumbria Police tweeted: “#MC24 One vehicle seized in Clifton, Penrith for no insurance and later on in the evening this Mazda was stopped in Carlisle with a disqualified driver behind the wheel.”
