Blackpool Pleasure Beach has extended its opening dates due to an increased demand from thrill-seekers to ride its coasters. The seaside theme park will now be open to coincide with the October half-term school holidays.
The attraction will be open midweek from October 30 to November 3, from 10am to 5pm. This is in addition to the remaining dates in October and weekend opening (Saturday and Sunday) throughout November.
There will also be a number of special events taking place in the coming months, including Oktoberfest, late-night opening for Twilight Thrills (September 23) and Halloween scare fest, Journey to Hell (October 13 to 31).

Furthermore, Winter Weekends begins on November 4, with a stunning fireworks display included as part of the experience for visitors. A Christmas Grotto Wonderland will also return in the countdown to December 25 and the Beauty and The Beast pantomime starring Blackpool’s own Charlotte Dawson will run from November 25 to December 24 at the park’s Globe Theatre.
Amanda Thompson OBE, Pleasure Beach CEO, said: “If there is something that we can do to ensure friends and families alike can enjoy our park for as long as possible, then we will do it.”
